WHO WE ARE:
Good Life For All is an Interdenominational Christian Ministry with its base and location in Kenya, Homa Bay District. The Ministry was started in January of 2007.
It was founded by Benard and Dorothy together with partners: Sylvia Suhr and Jared Odaro.

NEED
The heart behind this Ministry is to reach out to the needy in the society with a two handed Gospel, ministering to the Spiritual man as well and the physical man just as it was during the time of Jesus.

WHAT WE DO
We are involved in the following:
  1. Evangelism
  2. Discipleship
  3. Vocational Training Program
  4. Orphan care and support.
  5. Rehabilitation of Street children
  6. Support for widows.

ACTUAL WORK ON THE GROUND:

  1. We are running a feedingprogram for 250 children learning at the Got Kabok Primary School 70% of which are Orphans. AT this point we are only providing them with Porridge and Beans boiled in maize grains.
  2. We have earmarked 3 houses for widows that need re-building and once we get money the project will kick off. It costs US$2500 to put up a descent moderate house for one widow.
  3. We are running a Computer Training for Orphans in Partnership with Reikon Computer Services at their premises in Homa Bay. So far 10 orphans have benefited from the program.
  4. We have 12 widows who have adopted orphans either as next of kin or out of good will whom we work with by providing food on and off as it becomes avaiable. It costs about US$30 a month to take a child to primary school and meet his/her basic needs.
  5. We have 15 children under the program we help by paying their school fees and other requirements. It costs US$400  a year to see a child through one year of school in a moderate school.
  6. We have, in liason with the local clinics, been able to run two medical camps in two rural villages that lack any medical center around them.
  7. Alongside local churches, we have been able to help, through Evangelism, to plant two churches and also has been having monthly Discipleship sessions with different churches.
  8. A group of orphans and Widows were able to benefit from a distribution of Nets that were donated by some wellwishers from the USA. The nets were specifically given to those with Children under 5 and Pregnant mothers as they are more prone to death from Malaria than the rest. It costs US$10 to put one of the best nets, Olyset Nets, over the bed of child under 5 or pregnant mother. It also costs US$5 to put an ordinary PSI NET over a bed.
